The work

JLABS are the research and innovation labs of Johnson & Johnson, spread globally across 12 locations. We produced two digital installations for JLABS’ brand-new flagship lab in Shanghai.

Our first installation consists of immense and immersive floor-to-ceiling screens. The movements of people in front of the installation are tracked using camera sensors, and then abstracted on the screens in three different states.

We also created a volumetric light installation featuring 3D sculptures moving through a three-dimensional space of LEDs. Both installations reflect the rich world of movements, subjects and colours within the life sciences that are the core focus of JLABS.
